Q is for Quintessential Quixoticism.

Quitting doesn’t exist for equestrians. In fact, horseback riders who have been injured the most tend to go on riding the longest.

Horse people are a quizzical and quirky lot. But we never give up the quest for the perfect ride.

The Mane Point is participating again in the April A to Z blogging challenge, posting daily with alphabetical entries.

For this year's A-Z event, a month of posts will offer Turfy’s A-Z Rules of Horsemanship, with all due apologies to the original Murphy of Murphy’s Law,  which basically said, "If anything can go wrong, it probably will."

Horse lovers may have heard some of these uncannily true, yet often ironic, statements in various forms in the past. Or not.

  1. Holey Moley, I don't believe it! Another blog? Get outta here! Ha. Just joking. I feel like I am carrying on a dialogue with a veritable many-handed writer. :) I will let you know that quitting is not in my vocabulary. I have a favorite acronym : PPO.... it means Persistence Pays Off. Thanks for all the great posts you are writing. Best regards again. Ruby
