Crafty gifts for horsey folks: Home-sewn tote bags for kids and grownups

Marie Breitzke, a public school bus driver and 4-H leader in the Appleton, Wisconsin, area, sews and sells creative tote bags for kids and grownups. Designs include horse prints and many other themes.

Dusty Levis also offers horse print pillowcases and purses, as well as fleecy blankets, equine leg wraps, and saddle pads. The home seamstress welcomes special custom orders, too.

Initially, Marie sold her home-sewn wares at local trail rides and craft shows, but she now offers them online.through her Dusty Levis website.

The fabric tote bags, priced from $15 to $20, would make cute holiday gifts or fabulous gift bags for horse lovers.
